Jenna Wainwright and Andy Fennell met at the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine where they trained as metalsmiths and immediately began their shared creative process. Jenna is an independent jewelry designer with a meticulous practice partly honed during 12 years as a brass mount-maker at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Andy, who grew up in Rhinebeck, NY, has a long design history in building custom sculpture and furniture for gallery and home. They have renovated and settled into their Germantown, NY farmhouse/studio and are currently tending to their favorite things, including the two things they are proud of most of all, their daughters Juniper Coyote and Fiona Kestrel.
A love of history gave rise to East Camp Goods—Germantown was known as "East Camp" by the Palatine settlers of the 1700s—as well as their shared gratitude for a growing community of driven, creative, and generous people in their special town, where a deep sense of place and interdependence enables them to share their raison d'être with each other, their friends, and neighbors. Here, they invite you to become a part of their community.
